Girly Trinkets exists because of a pretty ordinary frustration: it's hard to find jewelry that looks put-together without either overpaying for fine jewelry or gambling on something that turns your finger green after two wears.
We're a small, Canada-based team, and rather than manufacturing our own pieces from scratch, we curate — we go looking for gold-plated, rose-gold-plated, and sterling silver jewelry from a range of makers, try to find the pieces that photograph well, wear well, and don't look like everything else in a crowded market, and bring them into one store instead of forty different marketplace listings.
That approach means our catalog moves fast. We're not locked into one factory's seasonal drops, so when we find a design that fits — a stacking ring set, an initial necklace, a pair of studs that don't feel like they'll fall apart — we can add it in. It also means our prices stay closer to what these pieces would cost from the source, instead of carrying the markup of an in-house design and manufacturing team.
We're just getting started, and we're building this in the open: expect our collections to keep growing, our product pages to keep getting more detailed (ring sizing, materials, care instructions), and our own voice to show up more as we go — starting with this blog.
If there's a style of jewelry you wish we carried, or a question our product pages don't answer yet, our Contact page reaches a real person on our small team, not a ticket queue. Thanks for being here early.
